ABC Squares Pattern

It’s been a crazy, busy spring thus far and I haven’t even turned my attention to the yard yet. My focus these last few weeks has been on producing my first pattern, ABC Squares. I have made and sold this quilt several times and finally decided it was time to make a pattern so that others can enjoy making it as well.  While the novelty fabrics used in this quilt follow an ABC theme, you can incorporate any theme and favorite fabrics.  The dimensions, approximately 52″ x 61″, make it great to use as a wall hanging or small napping quilt.

If you would like to purchase the pattern, please contact me via e-mail,, or by phone at 630-810-0585. Payment can be made via check or credit card ($10 per pattern, plus postage). The pattern is also available in several quilt shops with more being added all the time; if you have a favorite shop, ask them to contact me to order. If you want to make the ABC-themed quilt but don’t have a collection of novelty fabrics – or the time to find a fabric to represent “J,” “Q,” or “Z” (quite a challenge when you start looking) – a kit is available that includes all fabrics for the quilt top, backing, and binding. (The price of the kit is $80 plus postage.)

This is the first of several patterns that will be introduced and announced here in the coming months, so come back for a visit to see what else is happening. I only hope the next few patterns are not quite so much work or else the yard is going to look like a jungle by the end of summer!
